The temperature of the stage can be adjusted up to 50°C and comes complete with control unit. The heater is mounted below the stage so as not to compromise height adjustment in the setting up of Koehler illumination or the phase annuli. This also allows for he mechanical stage to be used without any adjustment needed.

Heating stage
We can also supply a heating plate which will fit to most microscope stages complete with temperature controller up to 50°C.
Although primarily for use with brightfield microscopes it can also be used with phase contrast versions providing they have infinity corrected optics to ensure that with the increased depth of the heated stage the phase rings can still be aligned.
